• We are developing a biomethane peaking power plant to compensate for the unreliability of renewable energy generation and to build climate-neutral, managed generation capacity to replace shale power plants after their closure. The peaking plant to be developed will also be ready to run on hydrogen.
• The plant will be equipped with a carbon capture device, and the collected carbon can be used to produce e-fuels. With this development, Alexela will make a significant contribution to the creation of a carbon neutral economy in Estonia and the Baltic Sea region in general.  
• Capacity: 200 MW
